Mr. Dominianni is a retired Partner of, and was Special Counsel to Coudert Brothers LLP, a law firm. He is currently a Director of Stamm International Corporation, Powrmatic Inc., and Powrmatic of Canada Ltd., manufacturers and distributors of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment. He was a Director of American Air Liquide Inc., Air Liquide International Corporation, and a Consultant to Air Liquide America Corp., all manufacturers and distributors of industrial gases, and Mouli Manufacturing Corp., a distributor of kitchen and household products.
Mr. Hellerman owns and has served as Managing Director of Hellerman Associates, a financial and corporate consulting firm, since the firm's inception in 1993. Mr. Hellerman currently serves as a director, chief financial officer and chief compliance officer for The Mexico Equity and Income Fund, Inc., a director of the Old Mutual 2100 fund complex (consisting of six funds), a director of Brantley Capital Corporation, a director and President of Innovative Clinical Solutions, Ltd., a company formerly engaged in clinical trials and physician network management which is currently in liquidation, and a director of FNC Realty Corporation, a successor to Frank's Nursery & Crafts, Inc., a company which operated the nation's largest chain of lawn and garden retail stores, which has emerged from bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 and is currently operating the properties it owns.
Mr. Goldstein was selected to be a director of the Company given his experience in the investment management industry and, in particular, closed-end funds. Mr. Goldstein is principal of Brooklyn Capital Management LLC, the investment adviser for the Special Opportunities Fund and several private investment funds. He is also a principal of Bulldog Holdings LLC, which owns several entities serving as the general partner of several private investment partnerships in the Bulldog Investors group of private funds, and which owns Kimball & Winthrop, LLC, the managing general partner of Bulldog Investors General Partnership. He is also a director of several closed-end funds.
Mr. Knapp is the Managing Director of Ironsides Partners LLC which manages the Ironsides Partners Opportunity Fund and a managed account for Millennium Partners LP. Previously, Mr. Knapp was employed by Millennium Partners from 1997-2007. Mr. Knapp is an asset value investor employing arbitrage, distressed opportunities and special situation strategies with a focus on closed end funds, holding companies and corporate restructurings. He currently serves as a director of the Africa Opportunity Fund Limited (LSE AIM: AOF) and its investment manager, and Pacific Alliance Asia Opportunity Fund Limited (LSE AIM: PAX). He previously served as a director of the Vietnam Opportunity Fund (LSE AIM: VOF).
Mr. Taylor is a Certified Public Accountant and is currently a Director of Northern Illinois University Foundation and a Trustee of Writers Theatre. From 1976 through May 2005, Mr. Taylor was a Partner at Deloitte & Touche. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Taylor was a Director of Deloitte & Touche USA and from 1999 to 2003 Mr. Taylor was a Director of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
Mr. Holtsberg currently serves as Co-Head Portfolio Management of TTGA. Mr. Holtsberg founded Motorola Ventures, the venture capital investment arm for Motorola, Inc. where he led the worldwide fund for eight years. He was also Corporate Vice President and Director of Equity Investments at Motorola. Mr. Holtsberg currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, the Chicagoland Entrepreneurship Center, and Illinois Ventures, the venture investment arm for the University of Illinois.
Mr. Tokarz is a senior investment professional with over 30 years of lending and investment experience. Prior to assuming his position as Chairman and Portfolio Head of MVC Capital (NYSE:MVC), and prior to founding The Tokarz Group (in 2002), a private merchant bank of which he is Chairman, Mr. Tokarz was a General Partner with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. ("KKR"), one of the world's most experienced private equity firms. During his 18-year tenure at KKR, he participated in diverse leveraged buyouts, financings, restructurings and dispositions. Mr. Tokarz currently serves on corporate boards including Walter Energy, Inc., Mueller Water Products, Inc., Walter Investment Management Corp., IDEX Corporation and CNO Financial Group. In addition, Mr. Tokarz is on the Board of Managers of Illinois Ventures, a University of Illinois-focused venture capital seed fund and high technology incubator, and is Chairman of a related private equity follow-on investment fund. Mr. Tokarz also serves as the Chairman Emeritus of the University of Illinois Foundation and its Investment and Executive Committees. Prior to his tenure at KKR, Mr. Tokarz was a commercial banker at Continental Illinois where he was renowned for innovation and buyout financings. Mr. Tokarz rose to run the East Coast operation of Continental Illinois from New York. He was active on the Endowment Committee and Board of Directors of the National Wildlife Federation. He received his undergraduate degree with High Distinction in Economics, an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant. He was selected as one of the "The Best Corporate Directors in America" by Outstanding Directors Exchange in 2007.
